Just after their Heavenly Abba Father confronted them with their rejection of Him, He told Adam and Eve how hard life would be for them and all who would follow. The world would need nurturing and tenderness to combat the struggles ahead. Then, Eve received her name, a name that disclosed the role God called on women to play from that day forward. More than ever, our world needs us to be this kind of woman.
20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.
