A love getting "late gifts," and this one definitely qualifies! I haven't been a successful scrapbooker, mostly because of the time and money usually required. I have several scrapbooks from when we were first married and when the kids were little, but then there are many "unrecorded years" since. Now I almost felt like was too overwhelming to catch up! Until ...
Just before Christmas, the creators of My Memories invited me to try out and share the latest version of their scrapbook software. Having failed at the traditional route, I thought I would give it a try! I've just had a chance to get my scrapping feet wet, but what fun! My Memories is easy enough to use that I took some photos from our time with family in VA and turn them into scrapbook pages ... while driving in the car! Voila!
Another bonus is that anyone who goes to the My Memories from my blog can use this code (STMMMS97563) as a $10 coupon to spend! By using this code (cut & paste) at MyMemories.com you get $10 off My Memories Suite (you get it for $29.95 instead of $39.95) AND then you also get a $10 gift certificate to use in their online store!
It's a great incentive to wrap up last year by scrapping the events or start out on the right foot this year. You'll also be helping me out, since I'll take the small commission I make (when anyone orders via my blog) towards a missions trip I'll be sharing about on CHP really soon.
Now remember, I'm a rookie when it comes to scrapbooking, but look what I made in my first try! I'm excited about the possibilities. There's also potential to produce some other neat gifts and memory keepers right from my own computer using My Memories.
So let me hear what digital kits inspire you to do some scrapbooking. It's a great way to use a virtual tool for real life! Check out the MM site, leave a comment, and check back to see who wins the free My Memories scrapbooking software!
Until then, I'll be making more memories. ;)

I love to Scrapbook.. and like you, no time. I haven't tried the digital stuff yet, but heard lots of people prefer to do it that way. My fav on that website, was Autumn Leaves, since I had an awesome autumn wedding. My hope for 2012 is to spend one day a week, catching up on my scrapbooking. We will see if it actually happens.
Like them all! Especially love the Christmas to Remember and Berrylicious!
Hope I win!!! LOL
These are so pretty, Julie! I have been interested in digital scrapbooking for a long time, but have never done ny books. These are great and what a great website! I would LOVE to win your drawing and love the baby girl and adoption kits. :) It is sad to have o many nice pictures just sit on our computer...would love to put them in scrapbooks in 2012! julie
I love to scrapbook! I have not tried digital scrapbooking yet. Would love to win this program so I can try it. This program looks simple and I love all the different choices they offer. One of my favorite is A Frosty Surprise!
Your pages look great! For most of my life, I've kept up old school photo albums, low-budget scrapbooks, and, for the past few years, photobooks I made online, but never with professional scrapbooking software. I have parts of 2007, 2009, and ALL of 2011 to catch up on this year! Looks fun!
You win!!! Congrats. I hope this will help you catch up. ;) Just email me directly at jeffjulmissionyahoo.com and I'll send you the details for your software.
Happy new year!
