I first fell in love with it when I was serving short term in Santiago, Chile and would look up to the Andes Mountains and be reminded of how God watched over me far from home. In so many places, there are "hills" to speak to us as reminders of where our help comes from!

Julie Sanders
www.comehaveapeace.blogspot.com

________________________________Julie_Sandersnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4230094183864536171.post-18233141071997836222011-08-25T19:21:43.087-04:002011-08-25T19:21:43.087-04:00julie, this is hard to choose. right now, i'd ...julie, this is hard to choose. right now, i'd choose 2. psalm 96 was mom's favorite, so i hold that one pretty closely because i spent hours reading it to her in the hospital. but psalm 121 is one of my all time favorites...."I lift my eyes up to the hills...where does my help come from? it comes from you, Lord...." the entire psalm resonates and speaks loudly to me. it always has. and finds new ways to do so, even though i've heard it /read it thousands of times.Rachaelnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4230094183864536171.post-38587487989599131132011-08-25T15:45:04.720-04:002011-08-25T15:45:04.720-04:00Julie, aren't all the Psalms so rich! He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will never be shaken. What a promise to cling to. I also love Psalm 63:1-4.

Blessings.Donnanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4230094183864536171.post-89229747721465919072011-08-25T15:10:30.901-04:002011-08-25T15:10:30.901-04:00Teri Lynne ... "Seeds Family Worship" does this song with a little video and it's awesome. I also love, love, love Psalm 143: 8-10. When you get a chance, read it - you'll be glad you did! Have a great day, Jul.
